What should a dog grooming table rental agreement include?

A practical discussion checklist for facilities, rent, records and changes, without presenting a template as legal advice.

By Pet Passion To Profit · General guidance, not legal, tax or accounting advice.

Describe the people and the arrangement

Identify the parties and the area, equipment and access being provided. Record start dates and agreed times. A label such as “self-employed” does not, by itself, determine employment status; the real working arrangement matters.

Set out facilities and responsibilities

Discuss bath and dryer access, equipment maintenance, cleaning, storage, consumables and utilities. Agree who handles bookings, payments and dogs, and obtain advice on insurance and liability for the actual arrangement.

Write down the financial terms

Include the rent model, amount or percentage, takings basis, charging period, payment due dates and relevant VAT treatment. Be clear about deposits, refunds and any agreed rental holiday. A monthly invoice does not necessarily mean monthly fixed rent.

Agree records and corrections

Specify who records work, submission timing, how the owner checks it and how a concern is raised. Keep changes traceable. Use the minimum personal data needed; PawRent work records should not contain customer names, phone numbers or addresses.

Plan for changes and ending

Discuss notice, access during notice, outstanding amounts and return of equipment or keys. Record changes with dates and retain previous agreements. Have a qualified adviser check provisions appropriate to the arrangement.

Keep the legal document separate from app settings

PawRent Rental Terms are calculation settings, not a signed contract. The preview does not generate legal documents. A completed app setup is not a substitute for a properly agreed legal document or professional advice.
