Grooming table rental terms and agreements

Put the practical arrangements in writing before work starts. This checklist is a starting point for discussion, not legal advice or a ready-to-sign contract.

Access, equipment and responsibilities

Describe the table or area, access times, bath and dryer use, storage, cleaning, consumables and utilities. Agree responsibilities for equipment failure, damage, insurance and handling dogs. Do not assume everything is included in “table rent”.

The rent arrangement

Record the amount or percentage, takings basis, charging period, VAT treatment where relevant, payment timing and how changes will be agreed. Explain deposits, refunds and any agreed rent-free periods in the legal agreement.

Records and checking

Agree who records work, when it is submitted, how disputes or corrections are raised and who checks the calculation. Avoid collecting customer-identifying information in PawRent work records.

Changes and ending the arrangement

Discuss notice, start and end dates, access during notice, equipment return and outstanding amounts. Get qualified advice about the working arrangement rather than assuming a self-employed label settles status.

What PawRent does and does not provide

PawRent’s Rental Terms are operational settings used to calculate rent. They are not a signed legal agreement. The preview does not generate a Table Renter Agreement or provide legal advice. Keep your separately agreed legal document alongside your business records.

Less admin. Clearer table rent.
